Today, Womanly Magazine is excited to announce the launch Issue No. 07: S-E-X, "Celebrating the Spectrum: An Issue on Sexual Diversity," featuring cover star, Ev'Yan Whitney (they/them). An author, somatic practitioner, and sexuality doula, Ev’Yan has spent the past decade empowering people to connect with their bodies. Their interview with health advocate, writer, and Womanly contributor, Kaori Crystal Sueyoshi (she/her), anchors this expansive digital issue showcasing diverse perspectives on sexuality and sexual health.
Covering topics such as sex work, sex play and kinks, sex and disabilities, arousal and orgasms, sexual disorders, and consent, this issue challenges conventional notions of "normalcy" in the realm of sexuality.
"We wanted to create an issue that reflected the diversity of human sexuality and celebrated the many ways in which people experience pleasure," said Attia Taylor, editor-in-chief of Womanly. "Our hope is that this issue will spark important conversations and encourage readers to embrace their own unique sexual identities and needs."
Issue No. 07: S-E-X will be released in installments over the next three months.
