Kiran Joan (b. Muscat, Oman) is a South-Indian illustrator and ceramicist based in Brooklyn, NY. Her magical worlds are influenced by a mix of cultures she grew up in, Oman, India, and the US. Her clients include The New York Times, Washington Post, LA Times, NBC News, Charles Schwab, Washingtonian, HuffPost, and more. She was awarded the EMBARC Fellowship at Baltimore Clayworks in 2022 and has an upcoming solo exhibition, Homing at HUB-Robeson Galleries, Penn State University, Pennsylvania.
